Alaina K. Van Nort graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, and from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and Cox School of Business in 2024. She joined Cook, Keith & Davis in 2024. Alaina’s background in finance provides her with a strong analytical foundation and financial fluency that informs her approach to commercial and civil litigation. Her practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, with an emphasis on landlord-tenant matters, debt collection, breach of contract, construction liens, and judgment enforcement. She represents both commercial and residential landlords, contractors, and small to mid-sized businesses, in a wide range of disputes.
