Biography

Cole Magel graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2021 and from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2024. He joined Cook Keith & Davis as a law clerk in 2023 and became licensed in October of 2024.

Cole’s practice covers commercial and civil litigation, landlord-tenant matters, bankruptcy, DTPA claims, construction disputes, appellate matters, and judgment collections. His clients include high net worth individuals, retail businesses, financial lenders, landlords and tenants, and small business owners.

  • Represents a variety of business entities and individual clients in debt collection matters.

  • Represents commercial and residential landlords in tenant disputes, and has also represented a commercial tenant in a landlord dispute — giving him perspective on both sides of leasing relationships.

  • Represents business owners who have been wronged by customers or business partners via a wide range of causes such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent transfer, and common law fraud.
