Biography

Reggie Jala graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2017 with degrees in philosophy and biology, and from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2022, joining Cook Keith & Davis upon graduation, where he has developed a practice covering appellate matters, bankruptcy, commercial and civil litigation, judgment collection and defense, and general motions practice.

Reggie represents clients in both state and federal proceedings across a range of civil disputes. His clients span a broad range of industries and backgrounds, including real estate syndicates, construction companies, logistics firms, and high net worth individuals. His background in philosophy and biology shaped an analytical, rigorous, and systematic approach to advocacy. Trained to construct and deconstruct arguments at their foundations, he is equally suited to navigating contested legal standards, complex factual disputes, and the systems-level thinking required to see how both fit together.
